The OPTIMAI Project held its first-ever plenary meeting online on Friday, 23rd July 2021.
The meeting was chaired by Nikolaos Dimitriou of CERTH, OPTIMAI’s project coordinator. Thirty-four project members from all over Europe attended the virtual event, representing the 16 partner organisations. The OPTIMAI Ethics Board members were also present and introduced themselves and their respective fields of expertise to the wider team.
The session involved in-depth discussions about OPTIMAI’s progress to date and plans for what is to come as the project matures. Presentations were given across all aspects of the project, including technical specifications, ethical and legal requirements of the research, upcoming webinars and workshops, and our pilot programmes.
