On the 22nd-24th of November 2023, the OPTIMAI project attended ISM 2023, the International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing. ISM is a yearly open forum fostering the smart culture and exploring the transformative impact of digital technologies characterizing the 4th industrial revolution across the full breadth of economic sectors. The 2023 event took place at ISCTE – University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal.
Elpiniki Papageorgiou from University of Thessaly presented her paper entitled “Deep Fuzzy Cognitive Maps for Defect Inspection in Antenna Assembly” funded by the OPTIMAI project. The event gave an opportunity for OPTIMAI and other projects in smart manufacturing to come together and discuss advancements in AI in manufacturing and all things industry 4.0.
