OPTIMAI Ethics Board
The OPTIMAI Ethics Board advises the consortium on ethical matters relevant to the project and its aims throughout the lifetime of the project. It reviews project outputs and provides independent guidance on how to tackle potential ethical issues. It also provides advice on how to reconcile human rights and innovative technologies. It monitors the project’s modus operandi with reference to the qualitative and quantitative research activities to be carried out over the course of the project. It attends meetings, produces regular ethics screening reports and reviews deliverables. The members of the Ethics Board maintain an open line of communication with the project team so that any project partner can turn to them with ethical doubts or concerns. All Ethics Board members have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
