Brief Biography of Partner
Future Intelligence group of companies offers an integrated suite of remote management solutions for devices in industrial, city and rural environments, based on wireless media and remote management applications. The company provides integrated solutions that combine hardware and software for smart cities and agriculture applications, specialized R&D services to third-party organizations and businesses as well as consulting services and feasibility studies in the areas of wireless communications and aviation.
Current commercial and research activities include next generation networks (network virtualisation), sensor adaptation and data interpretation techniques, data mining and data provision through cloud-based applications, cyber security services, distributed computing techniques (EDGE computing) and big data analytics. Moreover, FINT has a newly established department of Cyber Security Services focusing on Accelerated Services and trying to build an ecosystem friendly from cost and usability perspective for SMEs.
Partner’s Role in the OPTIMAI project
FINT has significant experience in commercial Industrial automation projects. Through the main company’s solution, FINoT platform which is a complete IoT solution, several objectives of OPTIMAI can be fulfilled. In particular the middleware of the platform utilises microservices providing an automated deployment method for various modules. This middleware service that can incorporate AI algorithms that can be utilised in Smart Cities, Smart Agriculture, Smart Infrastructure and Industrial Automation for Manufacturing domains.
FINT is the one of the first companies in EUROPE that provided a Marketplace for services and data sharing using a complete FIWARE-based platform along with a Marketplace creator for virtualisation function deployment and operation at FPGAs accelerating platform.
In OPTIMAI, FINT is the leading beneficiary of WP3 Adaptive sensorial network for product-process monitoring and analysis of defects in Manufacturing and will provide the middleware for device management and data registration. Moreover, FINT will be responsible for the development of OPTIMAI security toolbox, sensor modelling and virtualization while also the development of the marketplace for AI sharing.
