Brief Biography of Partner
Unimetrik provides leading edge metrology solutions that draw on extensive experience gained from a large number of industrial projects. Unimetrik is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. At present, UNIMETRIK is actively involved in the formulation of ISO standards for coordinate measuring machine (CMM) verification. Accredited by ENAC and acknowledged by the principal aeronautic groups in Spain. With a vast experience of more than 10 years, developed in international centers and technological enterprises, offers solutions directed to improve your verification and control systems, according to the Quality Norms (TS16949, ISO 9000, ISO 10012, QS 9000, etc.). It’s a part of the strategical association called Innovalia Metrology.
Partner’s Role in the OPTIMAI project
UNIMETRIK will bring its expertise in solutions for the industry related to Calibration, Measurement and Metrological engineering, as it is a certified Lab for advanced services for industrial metrology. Will work on traceability of measurements along with calibration and verification of status of metrology equipment (temperature and dimensional). In what refers to dimensional quality control assurance, Innovalia Metrology software allows to measure geometrical properties, measure by comparison with CAD file, digitize surfaces and totally automate measurements in all machines with CNC control, ensuring the quality and trust on the values obtained by the measurement equipment in conformance with international standards and norms, supported by the development of calibration artefacts and software services. Additionally, to the participation in WP1-4, UNIMETRIK will lead the Task related to Knowledge Management and IPR protection.
